Mansoor discusses efforts for peace in Afghanistan with Karzai & Abdullah

KABUL: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmed Khan called on former Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Dr Abdullah Abdullah in Kabul on Thursday.

During the meeting, efforts for lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan came under discussion.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Ambassador in Kabul Mansoor Ahmad Khan has said Pakistan is playing its role in evacuating foreigners from Afghanistan.

Talking to state-run TV this evening, he said we facilitate the foreigners at our embassy in Kabul.

The Ambassador said 200 Pakistanis have so far been sent back to home via Torkham Border.

Sharing detail of his meetings with Afghan political leaders Hamid Karzai and Dr Abdullah Abdullah, he said Pakistan has been taking positive steps for peace in Afghanistan.
