BEIRUT (RIA Novosti): The ministerial delegation of Iraq, visited a refugee camp on the Lithuanian-Belarusian border and agreed with the authorities of Lithuania on the resettlement of Iraqi citizens from camps on the border of the hostel in Vilnius, according to a statement of the Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displaced Persons.
“The delegation agreed with the Lithuanian side on the transfer of camps on the border to hostels in the capital. They will provide all the primary household items… An agreement was also reached to increase funding for those wishing to return to their homeland in Iraq from 300 to 1000 euros for each citizen,” statement by the head of the Iraqi ministerial delegation Dureid Jamil Aisha.
According to the Iraqi politician, the ministerial delegation held a series of meetings with the Lithuan-ian authorities, including the Deputy Foreign Minis-ter, as well as with representatives of international organizations and the UN.
As part of the events or-dered by the Minister of M-igration and Displaced Per-sons, Faik, the Iraqi minist-erial delegation visited ref-ugee camps on the border of Lithuania and Belarus and met with citizens there.
