GAZA CITY (TASS): The Palestinian movement Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, claimed responsibility for Sunday’s armed attack in Jerusalem, which killed one person.

The movement also noted that resistance to the Israeli authorities, including through armed attacks, will continue.
“Our Palesti-nian people continue their jihad and they are not worried about all the hostile decisions made by colonial countries that seek to perpetuate the occupation and deny the historical rights of our people,” the message says.
Later, the man killed in a attack was named as Eli-yahu David Kay, 26, from the central Israeli city of Modiin.
Eliyahu David Kay, a recent immigrant from South Africa who was employed at the Western Wall as a tour guide.
