14th August celebrated in Washington DC

WASHINGTON DC: The embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC celebrated 14th August, the Independence Day of Pakistan, by arranging a flag hoisting ceremony.

The Ambassador of Pakistan, Asad Khan read the message of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, who stated that the expatriates of Pakistan in America are being given many facilities such as E-Councilor services, Voting Rights and Digital Pakistan. The Ambassador added that all economic  indicators are showing great improvements in Pakistan.

While mentioning Afghanistan, Asad Majeed said that Pakistan is trying its best to bring peace in Afghanistan because the future of both the countries is interconnected.

Mr Asad Majeed further added that Pakistan will continue to extend moral and diplomatic strength to the Kashmiris for their right to self determination.

Large number of embassy staff was present on the occasion.
