Washington DC: The Frontier Post had posed a question to US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller yesterday regarding the incident at the Consulate of Pakistan in Frankfurt Germany but he was unaware of the incident and had said that he would follow up.
Today, The US State Department official returned with an official statement stated that “We are aware of reports regarding the incident at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Frankfurt, Germany.
With respect to this specific incident, we are waiting until investigations by German authorities yield information about the assailants and their motives before offering any assessment.
Broadly speaking, we condemn violence against any diplomatic or consular facility or personnel anywhere in the world,” US State Department stated firmly.
