TEHERAN (TASS): Potential US and Israeli aggression against Iran will cost them dearly. This was announced by an unnamed senior source in the armed forces of the Islamic republic, quoted on Saturday by Nournews .
“If the aggressor creates conditions for the [Iranian] military command to test their missiles on real targets, then he will pay a great price,” he said, answering a question about a possible US and Israeli strike on the nuclear facilities of the Islamic republic in the event of the failure of negotiations on a nuclear deal.
Earlier, Reuters reported that US and Israeli Defense Ministers Austin and Gantz during their meeting on Thursday were supposed to raise the issue of conducting joint military maneuvers in order to prepare for the neutralization of Iran’s nuclear facilities in case negotiations on an Iranian nuclear deal fail.
The seventh round of talks on the Iranian nuclear deal and the lifting of United States sanctions began on November 29 and was suspended on December 3, when European participants returned to their countries for additional consultations before continuing the dialogue.
