PRAGUE (RIA Novosti): The situation worsened after the capitulation of the world , NATO in Afghanistan , bringing to power in this country again came the movement “Taliban” (under sanctions of the United Nations for terrorists activity), said on Sunday in an address to fellow citizens, President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman .
“The international security situation deteriorated after the NATO surrender in Afghanistan, as a result of which the Taliban terrorist movement came to power in this country again. This “Afghan Munich”, apparently, will lead to an increase in migration flows from Afghanistan, but, first of all, to the increased risk, including in Europe, of new terrorist attacks, similar to the attacks on the New York “twins” (the World Trade Center buildings in 2001 – ed.), which were organized by the Taliban, – said Zeman.
The European Commission’s plan , known as the Green Deal, or Green Deal, could lead to energy poverty and lower living standards, Czech President said.
“One of the dangers that arose primarily in Europe is the so-called“ Green Deal. ”From the originally serious science called ecology, religion arose. And like every religion, this one has its prophets, for example, in the likeness of a post-pubertal girl (18-year-old environmental activist Greta Thunberg – ed.) The “Green Deal for Europe” directs us to stop heating with natural gas in 2030, and not to drive cars with internal combustion engines from 2035. All this would undermine our energy by would lead to energy poverty, would lead to a decrease in living standards and economic indicators,” Zeman said.
In December 2019, the European Commission launched the Green Deal project, aimed at a transition to a greener life in the European Union , within which the EC intends to present a number of initiatives and bills in the coming years.
They will, among other things, be aimed at making the EU economy climate neutral by the middle of this century.
