The crew included two guests of honor – the eldest daughter of the first American astronaut Alan Shepard Laura Shepard Churchley and the host of the popular morning TV show “Good Morning America” former athlete Michael Strahan.
In addition, there were four space tourists on board who paid for their tickets – businessmen Evan Dick and Dylan Taylor, as well as entrepreneur Lane Bess with her son Cameron Bess.
The flight lasted about ten minutes, the ship gained an altitude of more than 100 kilometers, leaving the atmosphere.
This was New Shepard’s first full-load flight. Previously, the ship flew twice with a crew of four.

Along with Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin’s flights are suborbital. So far, only Elon Mu-sk’s SpaceX has the ability to deliver people into orbit.
